The service is primarily intended for employees and students at TU Graz. Further user groups are defined as "TU external persons": e.g. alumni users, self registered users,... These user groups have to register for the service.
|
|
|
|
|
|
If you want to collaborate with "TU external persons" you have following common options:
|
|
|
|
|
|
1. Create a "Project access token": Please see https://docs.gitlab.com/ee/user/project/settings/project_access_tokens.html#create-a-project-access-token for details.
|
|
|
2. The person have a TU Graz SSO account and is not employee or student at TU Graz. Following steps are required:
|
|
|
|
|
|
* Go to https://connect.tugraz.at/app/services/overview and request the service "TU graz gitlab"
|
|
|
* After confirmation by the Gitlab admins the person can login into gitlab.tugraz.at and can be added as a member to repositories and groups
|
|
|
|
|
|
3. The person don't have a TU Graz SSO account. Following steps are required:
|
|
|
|
|
|
* For each external contributor a separate, personal account is required. Please note that some information (name, email, birth date and a official photo ID) is required of each person.
|
|
|
* The accounts can be created on https://connect.tugraz.at/app/account/register/consent-form .
|
|
|
* After successful registration of the account, each person have to request the service "TU Graz gitlab" on the service page https://connect.tugraz.at/app/services/overview .
|
|
|
* After confirmation by the Gitlab admins the person can login into gitlab.tugraz.at and can be added as a member to repositories and groups
|
|
|
|
|
