Absorption vs. Transmission

We named our output parameters and data "absorption values". Actually, what we store are not absorption values but transmission values. We store the ratio of X-rays which reach the detector and not the amount of X-rays, which are stopped (absorbed). I am pretty sure, that a reviewer will criticize this, because it is not really correct. @49FC7E77F5F21CA0 @2EA07C62F139CDD0 @54E81AF7EAB270E9: What's your optinion?
